With 30 years of experience in academic healthcare, Denise Rooney, has a strong clinical background with in-depth knowledge of physician outreach, physician relations, management, quality, patient safety, and nursing. She has worked in a variety of settings, including experience with three community hospital mergers. As a passionate leader, Denise finds great satisfaction in helping others achieve extraordinary results. She has lead the physician services team at Northwestern Medicine’s Academic Medical Center for the past 10 years.

Denise earned her bachelor’s degree in Science of Nursing from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a minor in Sociology and is a member of the American Association of Physician Liaisons and the Society of Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.
