As our Director of Corporate Communications, you will serve in this role by overseeing the strategy, development and implementation of our internal and external communications plan.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Driving and overseeing AtlantiCare’s communications efforts to internal audiences, external audiences and the media.
  • Producing high-quality content that engages employees and customers and enhances brand recognition.
  • Developing and managing internal and external communication strategies, ensuring the appropriate resources, channels and tactics are in place to successfully implement communication plans.
  • Creating informative content to promote our brand, healthcare services and programs. This includes developing content for print, video and audio mediums, as well as media relations kits and press releases.
  • Ensuring that strategic messages, as well as important news and information, reach internal, external and media outlets.
  • Managing media relations and public affairs, working closely with department leadership and executive leadership to develop an overarching message platform, and creating campaign/initiative-specific messaging.
  • Directing content development initiatives for internal (such as staff, physicians, Board members, volunteers, etc.) and external audiences (community at large, media outlets).
  • Supervising internal team members and guiding external agencies to ensure that work is completed in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner for our audiences.

Position qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field required.
  • 8-10 years of experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills required.
  • Proficiency with computer applications is required.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Strong supervisory experience required.
  • Public relations experience required.

Position qualifications:

  • Experience developing requirements for customer relationship management project or implementation required.
  • Previous responsibility for point and click administration of mission-critical system (e.g., ERP, CRM, CMS, etc.).

  • Creative problem solving, impeccable communication and attention to detail are key skills expected in this role.
  • Previous customer relationship management administration (Salesforce/MS Dynamics) experience preferred. Salesforce experience (Marketing Cloud, Health Service Cloud, Ad Studio, Datorama) preferred.
