Kathy Smith is Vice President of Marketing & Communications for The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a strategic marketing leader for Johns Hopkins Medicine. Kathy has 30 years of health care, pharma, not-for-profit, and academic experience, joining Hopkins in 2001. Before that, Kathy worked for health care/PR/marketing agencies, including Chandler Chicco, Edelman & Ruder Finn, in communications for UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, and for community hospitals. Kathy has a BS in journalism/PR from UNC-Chapel Hill and master’s in communication from Johns Hopkins University.
