Katie Mardigian is an outreach coordinator for the Hume-Lee Transplant Center at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. In this role Katie acts as a liaison between the transplant center and its various stakeholders including patients, community physicians, organ donation/transplantation partners and the broader community, ensuring all parties have an understanding of and access to the programs and experts at Hume-Lee.

As a marketing professional who can interpret “clinical speak”, Katie develops campaigns that promote awareness of evidence-based health care information that both improve the quality of life for the community and align with organizational strategic goals and initiatives.
