Mara brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare, higher education, and entrepreneurial ventures in Milwaukee, Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
Mara joined the Medical College of Wisconsin as Director of Strategic Planning in 2009. In 2011 she became Chief of Staff, and in 2016 she transitioned to her current role as Vice President. Prior to joining MCW she was Executive Director of Community Birth and Health in Seattle, and owned and operated Creative Consulting, a consulting firm focused on strategic planning and business development.
