Michiko Tanabe is CMO for Stanford Health Care where she joined the organization in 2008 as Director of Marketing and Communications. As Stanford Health Care increases its footprint, her role continues to evolve, now including marketing efforts for the Stanford University School of Medicine. Michiko has extensive marketing and communication experience working for global organizations featuring wide-ranging medical product portfolios. She began her career in advertising with J. Walter Thompson and later moved to the client side working for Heartport, Guidant Corporation, and Siemens Healthcare.
