Nicole Buikema is the Director of Physician Experience at Northwestern Medical Group, the academic medical group of Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, with oversight of the physician recruitment pipeline and first-year physician experience activities. Since joining NMG in 2011, Nicole has worked in a variety of clinical and administrative operations roles within academic settings. Nicole currently serves as the Advancement Committee Chair of the Onboarding and Retention Chapter of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters and previously served as the Education Chair of the Association of Academic Surgical Administrators. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University and a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan
