Kirsten Anderson, MD, MPH

Dr. Kirsten Anderson is the Senior Medical Director for New England at CVS Health/Aetna and the clinical lead for the Infectious Disease Advisory Team, providing enterprise level strategic and clinical direction around the COVID pandemic. Dr. Anderson graduated with honors from Harvard College where she studied the History of Science and epidemic disease. She concurrently earned her MD and MPH in epidemiology from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Columbia School of Public Health. At the School of Public Health her studies focused on the AIDS epidemic and social perceptions of infectious disease. She completed her internal medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
